One Tree Hill

Earlier this week we went to Stardome for a field trip. While we were there we decided to go for a wall up One Tree Hill.

We came to One Tree Hill and we had to go down the hill and into the crater. We came tumbling down the hill, which was very scary. Once we were inside the crater we made our names out of rocks and it was cool.

Today we came to school and went to Immersion Assembly.
team 1 made a movie of the sun and it was cool and fun, now team 2 did a robot dance and team 3 did a movie .Team 4 did a ballerina dance to it was cool and fun and team 5 did a movie it was a aliens move it was cool and fun.

It only a short hop skip and a jump across the Tasman sea to Australia but there is a world of difference in what you will find there.

The people in Australia are multi cultural and in Australia the people are different. The Aborigine people were the first people in Australia.

In Australia there are unique animals like kangaroos, koala and platypus. The kangaroos in Australia don’t walk instead they jump or hop.

The climate in Australia is hot it is different then us. And in Australia is dry and some people get hot and dry.

So if you are fortunate enough to make the journey you will need to allow plenty of time to explore all that Australia has to offer.

New Zealand

The rugby world cup is bringing lots of Tourists to New Zealand, but there is more here than just a cup! 

The first people in New Zealand were the Maori people. It is interesting to learn about the many different people in our multi-cultural country.

The animals in New Zealand are dangerous and not dangerous. The cows in New Zealand are not dangerous and many animals are not dangerous. So if you are here to see some of the 48 world cup rugby games remember to also take time out to inspect more of our stunning country.

Snowing

In Dunedin the snow fell on the sheep's heavy coat .The snow came with a blistering wind from the north pole.The lambs were very cold because they don't have thick wool like there mums.

My holiday

In the holidays Jayden and I and his mum went to Wellington on the bus. I went to my mum’s house and then we went to my friends house and I also went to my Aunties house too. At my Aunties we painted and it was fun. At my friends we watched movies and the next day we went out and we had McDonald’s. At 4:00 clock that day I had to go home.

We are practicing so we don't get it wrong. We will then paint our picture on our material to make cushions. I Like my colours. We are going to sew our cushions.

We went swimming for the last 2 weeks. We were learning to swim at the YMCA pool. We went to the pools with room 17.

I put the goggles on and we had flutter boards and I kicked. I ran back to school and my bag was rusteling with my togs and we had lunch.

Term 1 Movie

My Tower

We were building towers on Monday. The tower was made out of newspapers. I rolled the newspapers and put sellotape on them. In the end it didn’t work because we knocked it down.

My Family

This is my family. I have 2 brothers and a step mum and brother, I have a mum and dad too.

Baseball with Cola

At baseball two teams, Cola and Pepsi had turns at fielding and batting. We slide to the base and practice and practice so we don’t miss the ball.

When I hit the ball off the tee I felt proud because the ball went out far. After I hit the ball I felt satisfied when i made it to base.

In the holiday my two brothers and my step mum and I went to Wellington to see my mum. My step mum went to her mum and we went on a bus.
