One Tree Hill

Earlier this week we went to Stardome for a field trip. While we were there we decided to go for a wall up One Tree Hill.

We came to One Tree Hill and we had to go down the hill and into the crater. We came tumbling down the hill, which was very scary. Once we were inside the crater we made our names out of rocks and it was cool.

Today we came to school and went to Immersion Assembly.

It only a short hop skip and a jump across the Tasman sea to Australia but there is a world of difference in what you will find there.

The people in Australia are multi cultural and in Australia the people are different. The Aborigine people were the first people in Australia.

In Australia there are unique animals like kangaroos, koala and platypus. The kangaroos in Australia don’t walk instead they jump or hop.

The climate in Australia is hot it is different then us. And in Australia is dry and some people get hot and dry.

So if you are fortunate enough to make the journey you will need to allow plenty of time to explore all that Australia has to offer.
