Our first Vaipo Family Reunion for 2014

Our first Vaipo family reunion for 2014 was all in the first week of the holidays. I was wishing it will be fantastic instead of boring . There were plenty of other kid’s to play outside. so therefore we spent our whole day outside ,It was pretty awesome to meet my Nana’s side of the family which I have never been in contact them before. The most enjoyable part was that kid’s didn't have to do anything. It came to bed time my parents  went home in a . My cousins and I we slept in the marae and didn't go sleep till late. We only  went to sleep because the old people were getting angry  since we were being too talkative.  

First one awake waiting for the rest to get up .That day we got up for breakfasts then we got change.After we got change at that moment my dad arrived,He ask me If ate ,Yup I did.I went outside and the kids my age were playing handball I said”can I play” My cousin replied back

“yes but wait in line” so I walk over to the line then waited for my true,when it was my true I went on to play then I got out like in 4 minutes.I was thinking to myself I'm good at school but not here.I knew that they were way better then me but How did I get out so fast.The day went really fast It was night time.But we didn't stop playing because it was night we still played outside in the dark.

We did the same thing like getting up and having breakfast.Then we started to play again handball.But that game was getting a bit boring to us so we decided to play touch.It was blue vs organs why we did that was because at the family reunion we have to wear diffident colour tshirts and I was in blue.This man took lots of photo there were group one and individual one.The last day he took a photo of the whole family.

On the first day of school we had a assembly.It was about what our topic would be about this term.This term Pt England school is learning about Art. All of the team teachers had to do a little act or a movie to show us what art is.The best team I like was team five because the teachers did an art drawings  of Mrs Jarmen , Mr Jacobson and our principle Mr Burt. But the cool thing was that our team teachers was painting there art upside down.Miss Clark and Mr Barks draw Mr burt and Mrs Nua and Miss Squires draw Mrs Jarmen that leaves Miss Pagget and Miss Lagitupu and they draw Mr Jacobson.

life Education Trust

Class 3 has been going to life education with Lynn and it has now finished. I’ve learnt a lot from going to life education .The whole point of going there is to make the right choices in life and don’t mess it up with silly choices Lynn told us if we make the right choices we can get somewhere in life and  get a good job if we don't we can’t get a job or do anything with our lives.   

I have learnt how people  choose dug and why they do drugs  sometimes they do drugs for friends and some people just do it for fun and try to be cool. Drugs can affect our bodies really bad you can sometimes die from it if you go overboard with it. Some people think that drug do nothing to you, but really they do and they can .

Family can be badly affected if you take drugs sometimes they will  stay right away from you because they will be scared of you what you might do to them when you don't give them things they wants to have .

Alcohol can slow your neurons down  ,when you are in a car at the red lights you are suppose to stop but when you have alcohol   it slow the neutrons down and you could hit someone or be in a car crush, just from having some drinks .

Netball

tball  got made after basketball. A year after basketball was   made in 1891, Netball competitions appear in different countries .

There must be at least 7  players in each team one of them must play centre and the rest goal  shoot ,Goalkeeper ,Wing attack , Wing defence ,Goal attack  and goal defence  playing opposite from each team  .Netball is popular in Commonwealth countries , and is played by over 20 million people globally . It is  a women's sport, although male play netball in  some countries,also  in New Zealand.

Netball was Woman's Basketball. Until 1970 they changed the name to Netball by the Australian Women’s Basketball team . At the same time it became known as the All Australia Netball team In 1995, netball became an Olympic sport but it has  not been in the Olympic Games yet.

The aim of the game is to compete with  each other teams and also to get more goal than the other team and try to win the game.

Netball is played in four quarters each  quarter is fifteen minutes. There are breaks  of three minutes between the first and second quarters the third and fourth quarter Breaks  is five minutes long ,the game is 60 minutes long each.

The past few weeks we have been going to life education with lynn I have learnt a lot form it and how people  chose dug and why they do it for some people do it because friends  are and some people just do it for fun dug can effect really bad it come to death some time if you go over bored with it. Some people think the dug do nothing to you dug make you forget thing .

The Commonwealth Games often referred to as the ‘Friendly Games’. The first games were held in 1930 ,Hamilton Canada where 71  countries sent athletes to take part in six sports and 59 events. Since then, the games have been held every four years  but not 1942 and 1946 with the Second World War.It has changes from the past years the Games were known as the British Empire Games until 1966.

When it got held it Canada they change its name to the commonwealth game  In 2000 the Commonwealth Games Scotland planned a commonwealth youth games for teens aged 14 to 18.     New Zealand  has  only got 46 medals and England got 174 top of the leader board.The cook Island have got 1. Edinburgh hosted the Games in 1970 and 1986.

The 2002 Games in Manchester saw for the first time full medal events for elite athletes with a disability  in a fully sports programme. This will be continued at Glasgow in 2014.

World War 1 100th Anniversary.

My Holidays

During my boring school holidays I pulled out my white phone from the pocket of my pants. Pin number I put in**** ,thinking what I shall do with all this time I have. Texting Taeshell and Anamei  seeing what are they up to in this holiday,NOTHING replying  back with little emotional faces .The first week went a lot faster then I wanted it to.Sunday came we have to wake up super early for church 8.30 till 9.30.Monday, tuesday ,wednesday went buy. Still boring as ever, might as well texts Taeshell and Anamei  if they wanted to come movie ,Taeshell didn't want to so It was all left up to Anamei,Wait tick tock tick tock minute after minute pass finally got a reply from her yes of course I will come.Come to my house tomorrow then.

I looked online for times and movies .Ummm The Fault In Our Stars big bright letters it was like that was the movie we have to watch. Sleep time for me have now come “Good night” I said .I Woke up the next day hot and sunny ,got dressed into shots and a t-shirt .Texts Anamei I'm Ready,same came and picked me up.we walked fast to the train getting our tickets just about to go and sit down a little voice I heard from my right ear “excuse me could you help me get my tickets please” “of course I can” went and help her.Saunter  over to the sit just as I sat the train came. I amble on the train waited to get to Sylvia Park train station. Got off and Saunter over to buy out movie ticket.

Anamei looked in her pocket scrambled some coins out and looked right over at the arcade. Just till our movie starts ok then we will go. I had a lot of fun In the arcade i didn't want to leave and first I didn't want to go in. I focus on the time ohh my god we have to go in .Walked really fast to the man that makes sure you bought a ticket he said “theater ten the new ones” Movies finished  now.Got on the train and went back to Glen Innes and got some hot chips then went home.

First Swimming Lesson For 2014

The night before having our first swimming lesson for 2014 running around looking  for my togs,where are they getting a bit annoyed that I can't find them, constantly staring at all my clothes on the ground  this bright white t-shirt popped right out then I saw my black shorts my night is just getting better “I've got  something to where i'm so relieved.

The day we started swimming,

it was exciting, walking really fasted to the Glen Innes aquatic center. Went in the changing room ready for and fantastic time in the pools got changed. Hoped with joy I went and sat down with the rested of the class waited for our test and our instructor to see what group she would put us in.

People after people my time came for my turn to get tester. Serving as I were getting in. 

When I got out of the pool Jackie told me I'm in one that's the highest group. The reaction on my face was like I won lots of money. “Yay I said i'm in one” jumped up and down i’m so proud of myself.  

Walking over to the big pool so happy but at the same time anxious of what would be the given tasks.It came to the end of swimming time the lasted day was so much fun we got few minutes of free times then we got changs and walked back to school soon as we got back to school I was off back to home.
